Raysean Ricks is an enthusiastic content creator. Born and raised in Mount Vernon, Ga., he is a proud first-generation college graduate. As he matriculated through his undergraduate career, he developed a passion for storytelling and empowering underrepresented students on campus.
He developed and currently hosts Augusta University’s official podcast, In the Wild, which has accrued over 150,000 total listens since its conception in March 2020. He was also named the Georgia Education Advancement Council’s Outstanding Newcomer of the Year at their 2021 annual conference, received the Outstanding Young Alumni Award from Augusta University’s Pamplin College in 2022, and most recently, named one of the Top 10 Young Professionals to Watch by the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce and Augusta Magazine.
